Water accumulation on seat
Hi everyone,
I Live in Montreal, Canada and when start raining it usually last for a couple of days. I realized a problem after the firs rain. There is a lot of water accumulation in the lower part of the seat that does not drain anywhere. There is no way I can seat without removing every time with a piece of cloth. I think it would degrade the seat, the leather start to lose color. Is there a quick fix for this ? Thanks Login or Register to Remove Ads |

I was looking at this too.... Not really much of a problem now that I have a garage, but I was thinking that those buttons could collect water. If you notice the underside of the seat pan there are two strings that come through there. Those hold those two buttons.
My seat is torn, so I was going to look for a piece of naugahyde (....or whatever they call it now days), and put on a new seat cover, but leave off the buttons. I would think that should keep water from accumulating. The whole seat cover is just stapled with a staple gun to the plastic pan...... looks like an easy thing to do
