New Washington Rider with an '08

Hi there! I'm new to this forum as I just bought a 2008 GZ250 last week after getting my permit. On the ride home, just before sunset, I ticked it over 1,800 miles.

Though I'm a new rider, I come from a biking family. My dad rides a Road King so as a loyal Harley enthusiast he seems to pity me and my 250cc's, but I'm stoked and look forward to the affordable maintenance.

This was taken on my first 'actual' ride, by a beautiful bay I'm fortunate enough to live near.

This was taken after I rode out to an old logging port semi nearby to try out my new saddlebags I had installed with this forums help, as "throwover saddlebags" may or may not be a joke when it comes to these bikes.

I look forward to getting to know you all and learning so much more!

Leah
