New Portuguese rider
Hi!
I'm Ricardo, from Portugal. Bought my 2001 GZ250 almost two weeks ago. It isn't in perfect condition, although it only has 4500 kms. Previous owners already fell with it, but it's only cosmetic scratches in the front fender and a couple of dings in the fuel tank. I have my motorcylce driver's license since '02, but only now I've decided to get my first one, mainly to prepare myself to get an 883, two or three years from now. I hope to learn how to maintain my GZ250 in the best condition possible. Login or Register to Remove Ads |

Welcome Ricardo. Always glad to have a new member arrive. The GZ is a great first bike to develop your riding skills and learn a bit about the care and feeding of a 2 wheeler.
A great learning tool for first time riders is a copy of Proficient Motorcycling by David Hogue. Read it cover to cover and practice, practice, practice. Ride Safe. Login or Register to Remove Ads |
