Starting issues after winter

Well I'm hoping its after winter finally... It's supposed to be in the 50's after Tuesday!

When I stored my bike I wrapped the intakes, stuffed the tail pipe, filled the tires, and filled the gas tank, and added a fuel stabilizer. I also took the battery out, and didn't hook it up to a charger. Yesterday I unwrapped and stuffed it, put the battery back in, and hooked up the charger. Luckily this morning the charger indicated the battery was still good and full!

I hit the start, and worked at it a bit. Eventually it it turned over and sounded normal... for about 5 seconds, and then died. When I hit the start again I can hear it cranking, but it won't turn over.

I did try putting the gas to PRI and hitting the throttle a bit... Did I flood something?

Any help very much appreciated.

Did You use the choke??
Choke on, a bit of throttle and a full battery should have it firing up. A few seconds of prime to fill the float bowl should be enough.

What is the voltage aross the battery terminals, after charging it and letting it sit for half an hour?

I did have the choke on full. I multimeter went weird Ben I touched the terminals... It started low and went to a high number, then the screen went blank... I'm trying to find my other meter.

I tried starting it again. It did start for 15 seconds or so before dieing. Won't get thy far again though, unless I hook the charger back up.

Sounds like a weak battery to me.Try charging at 2 amps over night & see if it starts than.

ok....but 0.75A overnight is better.

Suzuki state.....0.7A for 5 to 10 hours, with a maximum of 3A for 1 hour. Although I would only use the 3A in a dire emergency.

I can't find my other meter, an bought a new battery on the way home. I tried one last time to start it up.... And it did! Had to baby the throttle a little, but it went strong! I had it charging for 2 days or so in the end.

It's 35'F here, but I took it out anyway. Felt so good!

The attached picture I the charger I got with the bike. Look ok?

Thought it was the battery.Yep looks good to me as it's also a maintainer.

is the same i have and work good
I us it on car batteries to, after the fast charger put this one on overnight to char it to 100%
