I do believe there is an auto cam chain adjuster. Some body will correct me if I'm wrong. If the chain is worn enough that the adjuster can't compensate then you likely need a new cam chain. I have read where an adjuster will sometimes malfunction and not do it's job. This is not a common occurrence so best you do a bit more investigating.
Should have asked first. Why do you think the chain is worn or out of adjustment? Any symptoms that lead to this train of thought or just curious? |
