Stock Tire Review - Metzler ME77

I just wanted to get your guy's opinions on our stock tires. I've had my bike for a couple months now and put about 1,500 miles on it.

I've found the stock tires to be adequate in dry conditions but terrible in wet conditions (bearing in mind that most tires do poorly in those conditions). Obviously, this being my first bike, I do not have much experience with other tires or how other bikes handle in the rain, but after reading other reviews online, it seems to confirm my experiences.

I have 7,000 miles on these stock tires for an 07' and am thinking about replacing them soon. I've found Jonathan180iq excellent post on replacement tires if anyone else needs help.
