Teaser (tom) in Detroit, my 2005 GZ250 as of March 2012
This poor soul of a bike really needed some help when I got it, it was abandoned by two owners... took it upon myself to make things right and nice!
First, the saddlebags (Castle) mounted with a universal adapter kit... I needed longer bolts from the hardware store but got it done. Windshield is from an old 750 Honda (thanks to my neighbor,) and fit just right. I use heavy duty stainless screening at work, and have access to some scraps so after modifying my exhaust and intake, well... couldn't resist. Yellow strip LED (s) under the lip of the gas tank on either side, (police have a problem with red or blue it seems,) makes night riding safer and I think it looks a tad AWESOME. (wired to the orange horn wire, and to a toggle switch under the seat so they're "off" during the daylight.) I will post the "technical" aspects of my modifications in another post in the appropriate area. Login or Register to Remove Ads |
