Salton Sea
Hi, there.
First ride report for the new year 2009. Tried ride a place which was saved for the winter time, at here California. Even though Sunny and warm today, there is a Santa Ana Winds around here. Winds at the desert was pretty bad for the bikers... or for me and gz250, ha ha ha Not many pictures today, but managed couple of them. Salton Sea(??), yes it's a BIG BIG LAKE in the middle of deseart. Salton, I think that lake water contains Salt. To circle around, my guess is more than 100~150 miles. And took about 2-3 hours to finish... It's 65 miles speed limit, and road conditions are pretty nice to enjoy. I hope that I could go later this spring time again... Total Distance: 420 Miles Here are some photos and GPS track and map to share.
