It rarely lasts long but just a short drive North or South is a different story. World reknown skiing just 45 minutes North at Whistler. Got some winter tires coming this week so I won't be restricted to staying home.

Never thought about snow tires... do they make them for the GZ?? :lol: :lol: :lol: I did see out-rigger skis somewhere online :roll: . I'm sure next year I'll miss the snow and ice of winter again, but this year, not a chance.

Stay warm and safe up there WW. Got your wood stored up?

General makes an Ice radial car tire that will fit the rear of a Vstrom but I don't know about the GZ. Europe might be the place to search. I'm sure there are riders in Europe somewhere who ride all year round.

Got wood?? NO way. Wood burning is far too labor intensive.
