My first suspect would be back to the vacuum petcock. Sometimes my '06 won't stay running on the "run" petcock position until the engine is good and warm. I figure it's not producing a reliable enough vacuum to hold the vacuum petcock open until it's running strong.
After all, with a single, the engine is only making vacuum 25% of the time, during the intake stroke. Also, Idle might be set too low. Did you try starting with the petcock in "prime" position? Did you check the petcock vacuum circuit to make sure it is holding vacuum, and opening? |
