I also hate packing. Moving is one of the most stressful things in the world for me. The last 3 moves I made were preceded by tossing unused stuff in the big garbage bin at work. Did not include tools etc. My last move after retiring was from a one room fully self contained 5th floor location. It was an adult highrise and very nice with heated underground parking. Wasn't cheap but it was quiet and cozy for a shift worker.
Then I moved to this West Coast Paradise and will be here til I die.
