OK, so I found the thread on the needle shim modification, it sounds like that is pretty much the same thing as increasing jet size... it's kind of a "cheat" is how I would describe it.
Also, I see there is a plug called the "epa plug" that should be removed for access to an air/fuel mixture screw. Not sure what part of the powerband that is for though.
