I was thinking use a bung to go In eather side like frame/sb. I would think lead would be too soft to hold any weight. Was thinking about a couple small L bars and could just cut and bend. Got a shopping list togather think I'm going to try steel first and hit it with a torch. Just re harden it at stress points when it fits.
