It is really quite surprising how many folks are out there without a proper license and just hoping never to get stopped. On my recent trip there was a random check stop by the LEOs to check for license and registration violations. The young officer said they had just put 2 bikes on tow trucks and a 3rd was waiting for a tow when I arrived.
I wonder which is more costly, getting a license and insurance plus a fine and towing or just get it done and be legal ?? Towing and a fine can be very costly.
