When there is no wind my bike will hit 75 no problem. To get 80 I usually have to go downhill. The bike also performs better in cold weather. AS far as the life of the bike goes, I picked this bike up for $650 and I have been riding it for 2 yrs. It has already lasted long than I thought it would. The ninjas are nice but I am looking at Triumphs for the next bike and this one will go to the wife.
