I'll check the dimensions later, & post them for you. Fitting was real easy. Just remove the rear seat, throw the bags over, then replace the seat.
10 minutes max. They're real thick leather, so I've never needed the bag guards, & I've never had any problems in the 4 years they've been on the bike. I did need to rivet an aluminium plate underneath, for heat protection, though. Like I said, even though they're large(ish) they don't seem to hold a lot, & I reckon that solid boxes would have been a better choice for me, Because I use the bike as a workhorse - usually full of groceries or tools.
