Re: At my home town.

It seems like every other weekend there is a report of one, two or more MC fatalities on Santiago Canyon (for those keeping track, it was two this weekend - rider crossed the divider - took out another rider - then was clipped himself by a third.) Santiago is our weekend milk run: 12 miles of traffic light free sweepers - optionally terminating at Cooks Corner - a firmly established biker bar/hangout.

When I first started riding I thought it was noteworthy. After the twenty or thirtieth story of a "45/27/54 year old male rider riding his Harley/Suzuki/Honda was struck/lost control on Saturday/Sunday/ Monday afternoon while out riding with his brother/Dad/girlfriend, the cause of the accident is under investigation by the police/Sheriff's Dept/CHP" I decided that it's probably best to just stop reading the news...
