Quite a bit more, I would think.
As for the head, that looks more like a dent than a hole. If that's the case, you might get by with just leaving it as is.
BUT.....
If the valve fell into the chamber and then the piston pounded the stem against the head to make that mark........I'd be more worried about the piston than that dent. Could have damaged the bearings, bent the rod or the crank too (not likely but possible).
