I'd say you got a pretty good deal, assuming the lunched valve was the only problem with it. Instead of JB Weld, you may want to consider a new cylinder head. You can pick up a new cylinder head assembly from CheapCycleParts.com for less than $500.

BTW, which valve was that broke?
