thanks guys for all the help and support . and i think you may be right . i think my past experience is just making me paranoid . i looked everything over today and found a leak in the gasket going into the head and the carb float bowl was leaking . bought new parts and its all good . i took it out for a nice long ride and all is well . had a great time. the bike was used in a driving school so it has never even seen a highway or probably hasent even been out of third gear its a 1999 and has 1000 miles on it . did a full tune up and it runs like a top . i had it up to just about 80 mph . thats perfect . no tickets and besides the roads in brooklyn are crap so where the heck am i goin . have a nice day guys and be safe .
