I think you have made a fine choice. I took mine on a 1,200 mile trip, including some mountains and it did fine......but some people would have been really pissed 'cause there were times that top speed was 40 or so for a little ways.

Having been on bigger bikes in the past, you may find the handling to be "quick"; I did and it took some time to get used to.

Put a little carb cleaner in her occasionally and keep the chain lubed and you'll be good to go. !! :rawk:
