I would suggest both mom and daughter take a rider training course together. The group ride will be addressed and many handy safety tips brought up. There are some Do's and Don'ts that are never a concern until a rider gets hurt. By then it is too late. Also pick up a copy of Proficient Motorcycling by David Hough.
