I have had the air filter out to spray some starter fluid on it the first few times I started the bike but didn't pay real close attention. I don't remember it looking discolored or anything and I definitely didn't look at the inside. It's supposed to rain here in cincinnati the next few days so I'll give that a look when things dry out.
