Hmmm I want to keep the trip under $350 budget, Assuming that I spend roughly $50 on Gas for the trip...which is around what I expect to spend on a 65+ MPG
motorcycle that fills up with $4.75...

Yeah It came in mail already fits like a glove, a tinny bit tight but that will more than likely go away with use.
I think I hit the jackpot on size for it.

Yeah but I don't have any gear yet :( No helmet primarily just jacket and boots, Helmet and gloves will come in mail next week...so yeah No real option for me to ride it here.

The way they stole my class mates Honda CBR1100 was in less than 30 min they hotwired it, cut the chain he had used to secure it to a post, and took off with it.

How much insurance do you pay?
So how much insurance do you guys pay for the GZ250. As Iv said before sometime in Jan I play to get a Virago 250 so I wan't to know the range or so of insurance for the 250 bikes.

Im considering just buying a used 250 Rebel or something that I can find some what cheap (round the $1800) range and just learn on that. Maybe forget about buying from a dealer all together since...

Sup guys,
Well I just failed my riding portion of MFC,
Got a 100% on the written portion,
on the 2 days on range I never once dropped the bike, skid, did the figure 8 just fine, and all....

Yeah this weekend has been a bit hard on me. MSF hours were really funky.
Day 1
Classroom - 6pm-10pm
Day 2 Range - 6am-12pm
Day 2 Class room 1:30pm-4pm

Honestly I would not mind the underpower so much if it was not for the closeness of the shift leaver and the footrest on the left hand side. I wish I could put the shift leaver just 1 inch higher...

I finally rode a GZ250!
Today at 6am I started the ridden portion of my MSF course and I happen to have chosen the GZ250 that they had there as my learning bike for 6 hours of riding.
I gotta say it takes sometime...

#1: it won't be any better than a GZ. My opinion only but I spent a week training on one.
#2: it is a smaller skinny bike with a peanut sized tank.
