Ahh, yes...that part.

I didn't have the tool, so it was a pain to do. We took the old slide ring and carefully hit a flat punch with a hammer to get it down. Not fun to do at all, but it worked. ...

So I got to work on it saturday afternoon at about 4pm. The job took a buddy and me about 2 hours to complete, only for the fact that we have never done it before.

New to the forum, bought a 2001 GZ250 about a year ago.

It was sitting in some guys garage for the past 7 years when I bought it, 1000 miles, great deal.
