I rode it a couple miles yester day after new...

I rode it a couple miles yester day after new oil, filter, and air filter. spark plug was sooty, so i cleaned it off. I dont use choke at all, even in a cold start...if i do, it dies. it wil start up...

ok, so i took it on a ride, and it will only run when choke is off and im givin throttle, and acts like its a car out of timeing, dogging, will catch power, then bog down...idk what to do next :/

Yes. I got it running. but now it will only run with choke lever all the way forward, and full throttle...when i adjust throttle or choke, it dies.

Wups! sorry, forgot to say that the bike was off....

Wups! sorry, forgot to say that the bike was off. the fuel filter is full when its on ON or PRIME

Thanks. Il get a new air filter and oil filter, and check the petcock also. i do know when i put it on reserve, gas does not come out.

Its totally full, just put 93 w seafoam in it.

So i got it started! drained the oil box, drained...

So i got it started! drained the oil box, drained the carb bowl, turned petcock to RES and took out the air filter, pulled on the gas and it fired up...it stayed runnin as long as i held the throttle...

Yah, iv done all that, still nothing. I cleaned sparkplug, changed oil, and petcock is set at "ON", and pulled drain plug also.

I cleaned sparkplug, changed oil, and petcock is set at "ON", and pulled drain plug also. still nada :(

Thanks!...Ok, so i also found something else...i checked the air filter, and there was oil/gas mixture puddled in the bottum of the air box! like 1/2inch full of it...so i cleaned it out, drained the...

Hey yall, I just bought a used 2003 GZ 250 that wont start. I have done the following:
Cleaned carbs twice(jets, needle, bowl, checked floats, not stuck)
New fuel filter
New Spark plug gapped at...
