Re: With Maier GP fairing
Nice SV; it's unusual to see one that's still a street bike. I see that you're in Looieville, you wouldn't happen to know a guy named Jeff Blanchard, would you? If so, tell him I said hi.

Re: GZ250 identical help
That's exactly what it is. These days I think Honda probably makes more money licensing designs to Chinese, Indian, and Taiwanese manufacturers than they do from selling bikes themselves.

Re: My GZ
Those of you who purchased a GZ as an expression of your own personal style, and believe that the way a bike looks is it's most important attribute: look away now.

Re: Hi from denmark
An R26 is a pretty cool first bike; not exactly an everyday sight. Of course, the GZ'll be a better daily rider, plus you don't have to worry about damaging a rare classic.

Re: My GZ
Sorry I didn't see your post earlier. As mentioned, it's an auxiliary fuel tank; the range varies from 400-500 miles.
If you look close, you'll see o-ringed camera cases used as hard luggage, an...

Re: My GZ
It helps if you know a little about my motorcycling history. Here's one of my Ninjas:

Re: My GZ
Thanks. It's actually too pretty.
I was in the garage yesterday trying to mount up some saddlebags, and found myself waxing it instead.
There's this voice in my head saying I should just take...

Re: Hello from KC..
Thanks! The only one I still have is the rally bike (with the hard bags and auxiliary tank). I may eventually ride it again; it's got bar risers and a more forward riding position than a stock Ninja...

My GZ: now with bags
Here it is, my new transportation appliance; a 2008 GZ250 with 172 miles. Apparently the original owner bought it in the hope it would inspire his wife to take up riding. Didn't work, so he traded it...

Hello from KC..
Hi, my name is Alan, and I'm a 250 addict.
I just purchased a 2008 GZ250; my 9th motorcycle, and 5th 250. I'm generally more of a sport-tourer rider (2nd gen Ninja 250s, Concours) but I wrecked a...
