I just mounted one on my 99 and all it took was drilling an addditional hole in each mounting rail. The width was perfect. It is off a early to mid 80s GS 650 .

Just a thought here. Is it possible the starter motor is drawing to much juice ? There may be enough juice to for the plug while ontside the engie and just laying on the block for a ground but not...

Is there any way to determine if the auto cam chain tensioner is working properly. I see what appears to be a little rubber button on top, just what is the purpose of it?.
