Yes, it originally came with 4. I am missing one myself, although I have a grand total of 2900 miles (/sarcasm). But I cant offer any useful info, as I have not researched a replacement yet either :(

I use one of these, tucked under the rear seat strap. That way its always in reach, whether gloved or not, etc

whats the avg lifespan of those batteries? or is it a function of use/charge status? i know car batteries are normally crapped out 3-4 yrs, around here. unless big $$ was spent on them

Thanks all. Not thst it matters but slighly misspoke above. the GZ is a 2008. Had 800 miles when friend bought it, 1220 now. Nothing customized, oil was changed/ chain cleaned when he got it a year...
