Yep I agree to that... i've noticed some kind of "overdrive" sensation when I hit 60 mph or something...
But still i never felt confortable at 70, nor at 65 mph... The little thumper was just too...

Yesterday I went for my first trip with my GZ250 after she's been upgraded:
- new oil and filter
- new tyres
- 16t front sprocket
- clean carburetor
- greased and adjusted chain slack
- new...

I have a Nolan Xlite composite fibre full face helmet: 2 lbs 14 oz.
Confortable and pretty cheap too, the padding is a little weak and as i have long hair some wind comes in from under the left ear...

I changed my oil some days ago: went like a charm!
I put in some 5W40 Auchan brand full synth diesel oil: silent, starts on first crank, neat. Perfect!
I had no wussy bikestand or 2x4s... I did it...

It worked... I yanked and pulled a bit to get the new sprocket on but I managed! Looks all fine! I will try it as soon as it stops raining!
Now to the next topic: chain slack! I am never confident...

Doesent sound like a flooded engine... more like an empty one! Like it's not getting enough gas or something.
I'll just wait and try parking downhill!

Yeah that's what i thought too. But i'm not talking steep... just like 30 degrees slope.

Bike won't start if parked uphill
Lately i have been noticing some peculiar behaviour on my thumper: when i park it on a slope, like uphill, it is hard to start.
Usually i crank it for about half a second: two revs and the little...
