Here is a cheap alternative to heated grips. Less money, less work to install and less current draw. Less current could mean less heat though. I have never tried them....

When I took the MSF course they talked about this. They said you should be in the right frame of mind when riding. Never ride when sick, angry, sad, stressed out, etc.

Keep that front pipe polished. I love the Vstars but the front pipe has a habit of blueing. I am still debating between the Vstar classic and the Shadow aero.

It doesnt pay to squeeze in every drop you can. I did this once and I had some seepage under the cap afterwards. This is not good for your paint.
