Probably the easiest thing to do is put it on craigslist "as is" and be done with it. What is a "fair" price for this "as is"? $400-500?

My last bike was a yamaha ES1100, but I could not pass this...

Here are a couple more pics. After easyrider mentioned the piston, I took a closer look and you can see where the valve hit the piston. There was no damage where the imprint of the valve is ... but...

Here is a pic of the head. The hole is visible beside the exhaust port. I have ruled JB weld out. I don't want to spend a lot of money on the bike because I am not planning to keep it.
