Losing power

I have an 06 GZ250 it's starting to lose its top end. I went from 70+ down to 60/65 mph any suggestions

Check your air filter, throttle cable, vacuum hose from petcock, and did you use higher octane gas. Also check your spark plug. These are some of my best guesses. Hope it helps.
