How many turns back it needed for carb at GZ, 1 3/8 or 2,5 turns ? Gz250 1999

The book states to turn screw in, mark how many turns and replace using the same number of turns. I didn't see any number value associated as a base setting. Mine was set at 2.5 turns (approximately).

My setting on my '09 was about 2.5 turns.
