Hi folks, I'm Shawn. I've just bought my first GZ250 (2008 model) two days ago and landed here looking for various details. My most recent bike before this was an 81 Honda CM400. I expected this little commuter 250 to be a lesser bike... boy was I wrong! Lighter, steadier, prettier and (the hardest to believe) faster.

Welcome Opensorce. I love my '09' GZ too. I use it as a daily rider commuter bike and pleasure cruiser on my off time. Fun to ride. Enjoy your bike and the forum. Lots of good information here if you need it.
