There is a fine line between an interesting experience and insanity.

And that elk ALMOST crossed that line... what the hell was he thinking, butting heads with a ferocious photographer???

Apparently, according to the comments beneath the video, the elk was later destroyed by the park rangers. Having said that, I am always wary of the comments sections of internet reports etc.

Oddly enough some folks seem to think animals in a national park are tame. I have seen people in Jasper National Park in Canada who will walk up to a deer or elk to pet it.
I held my breath one time when watching a fool follow a Large Male Moose into the bush to get a picture. This guy was surely a Darwin Candidate. So many people don't realize they are a guest in the animals back yard and should act accordingly. Wild animals are unpredictable. I would sooner take my chances with a guard dog having a bad day.
