Finally back on the bike
So after posting that i was going to make a bobber, I unfortunatley laid my bike down and broke my hand along with much of the bike. But in true hard headed fashion i have started to rebuild with a custom look. Watcha think so far, and any ideas on a rear fender skin this is only the frame.

Sorry to hear about your accident and broken hand. Hope you are healing well.
Cool look with the bike. Looking forward to your finished project. :) |
Re: Finally back on the bike
Just tinkering but I think I like it. Next step is dunlop d404 ww, a redone seat and a rear fender. O yea and the frame straightened....yea that's important too.

O yea for anyone interested bed armor works great for a cool paint look. Its rubberized and damn near sctatch proof perfect for a tuff little street fighter.

Re: Finally back on the bike
The guys who go all just cut that rear part of the frame off... It's obviously not something that can be undone without some good welding.
But I wouldn't chop it until you've had the framed pulled straight. There is a pretty good little Harley seat that some of the bobber guys use. You can search that. There is a how-to on installing the seat, I know. |
