GZ 250 Forums - Highway bars

I have looked everywhere I can think of for highway bars for the GZ250. The only thing I have been able to come up with are the Suzuki engine guards which are pretty useless pieces of pretty chrome. They are way too small to be effective in case of a drop.

Anyone know of a highway bar that will fit the GZ250 properly that will offer some protection to the bike?

This engine guard was made by MC Enterprises USA. It has been discontinued but if you search long enough you will probably find one. Heavy duty! it mounts to the frame via the engine mounts. They also make clamp on foot pegs to fit it. I have this engine guard and the Suzuki model. I don't have the pegs yet. I could not find a good source for them and MC Enterprises doesn't sell direct.
