pelagic i have a riding boots that i will use once i "really" start riding..

Just a suggestion here but it works for me. Always wear your real riding boots whenever you ride. It will help your muscle memory with the foot controls and you are also better protected. Adjusting the foot controls to work best with your boots will also help develop the habit.
