New spanish guy

Although this is not my first message, I'm new at this nice forum.
I live near Madrid, Spain, and I ride a 2006 GZ 250 Marauder. We've got a forum here too, but this one is more into technical subjects.

I can understand everything you write but I make some mistakes writing in English, as my language is Spanish, but I'll try my best.

Here's a picture of my motorbike.

Bienvenidos.

Cuidate,

Jonathan

I've never seen a GZ250 with a fly screen before. I think I like it. How good does it work?

I don't know how functional it would be. It does look pretty good though.

sissy bar

Is that a sissy bar on the back?
I do like the cafe screen in front.

Gracias and welcome

Thanks everyone for the welcome!

The fly screen helps at highway speeds, combined with the drag style bar, as it makes the wind to go over my shoulders. I only had to make two metal pieces to install it.
Also, there's a luggage rack with sissy bar and crashbars that I don't like too much...
I've also changed the huge rear indicators for smaller ones.

Maybe my bike is not as classic as a GZ250 use to be, but I like it.

Are those LED turn signals?

No, just standard 12V/21W bulbs.

Darn I was hoping some one had got around to trying the LED version.

Are the bulbs difficult to get out? The stock ones can be hard to get out if you have big fingers.

For the LED version you just need a resistance to match the original wattage and avoid a too fast blink.
To replace the turn signals, I rised the rear mudguard so I could gain access to the wire; not only is replaced the indicator itself. It would be quite hard without disassembling the mudgard, as the wire it's inaccessible.
