My 2007 GZ

Re: My 2007 GZ
Looking good.
Glad to see you wearing gear even in this hot weather. Last week I parked next to a Harley rider at our bike night meeting. As I was removing my jacket, he asked wasn't it hot with the jacket. I just told him I was not brave enough to ride without one. To each his own, and I will never say anything about another riders choice, but I have down and it hurts. |
Re: My 2007 GZ
Thanks! I was on the bike for the first time that day leaving the dealership a month ago. I love the jacket and helmet...have debated getting armored pants. Would hate to land on an exposed knee.

Hey Heron, that looks like a Gmax helmet. I have the GM68 and I love the fit. I use the lights in the back when I'm in fog (or a parade).

Re: My 2007 GZ
Helmet is an HJC CL-16. Lights in the back of yours...cool!

Re: My 2007 GZ
I like it when people take "riding safe" seriously...nice equipment you have there!!!

Re: My 2007 GZ
Also good to see another rider wearing safe gear. We use Tourmaster armor hi- vis yellow jackets and look like two glow worms on a bike. Most of the time, we still get close calls from drivers who must not see us, hmmmmm. Your jacket looks bright enough for others to see you. What kind is it? I use "firehose" pants from Duluth. The real thick ones in brown, and the multi pocket one in blue. Very comfy and thick. Luckly I have not had to see how they hold up while sliding on the pavement. Ride safe. GZBrian

Re: My 2007 GZ
Actual riding pants with armored knees and hip padding is a good way to go.
