130 Main Jet (3) and Stock 120 Main Jet

Hey all,

I've got 3 130 Main Jets for the GZ as well as 1 of the stock ones.

This jet has worked great for after switching to the K&N filter, switching to the 16T sprocket, and putting on a new exhaust.

If you need 1 of the 130's or need to replace your 120, I'm asking for $1 plus s/h which with USPS in a padded envelope should be about $4. We'll call it $5 shipped.

Let me know if you're interested.

If i cut the exhaust off my GZ and put a new one on, will i have to shim the needle? If i do have to, will i still be able to ride it home from where i plan on cutting this muffler off? Or will i ruin the bike somehow driving it when needing to shim the needle ?

You should be fine, just doing a idle mixture adjustment. You usually don't need to shim the needle unless you are changing to a high -flow air filter.

I have a plain ol suzuki air filter in her now. is it necessary to do an idle mixture adjustment when changing the muffler ? And how do you do that ?

Yes,it is necessary to do a mixture adjustment. The mixture screw is plugged from the factory. It is under the carb in front of the float bowel. The carb needs to be removed to drill out the plug. When you drill out the plug,be careful not to go to deep and damage the screw. With the bike warmed up & idling, slowly turn the screw out till the idle rolls.(rich) Than turn slowly in until the idle slows.(lean) Than out to where the idle is smoothest.(About the middle of both extremes).

I use a straight bit out of a multi-bit driver. :2tup:

It is the bottom of the carb. There is a exploded view of the carb on 4-3 in the manual.
