Best ride in the south...

The Oconee river is the most beautiful ride i've ever set eyes on. Located in Georgia its a landmark for previous olympic rafting. The view and rest-stops everywhere are breath-taking but the twisty roads in and out are for moderate and experienced riders only. I've seen a handful of newbe riders lay em down so watch yourself gentleman. But trip will not be forgotten promise..

Nice scenic area. Generally a road that follows a river is a riders dream with all the twists and turns. But trying to sight see while riding and also target fixation will lead to a wreck.

I rarely get out to that area on the motorcycle. Usually it's on 4 wheels with the family. I'll have to make a point to ride out there this year.

Every time we ride down there the family follows us in the car wanting to bring sandwiches to picnic and have a good time there's tons of picnic areas and walkways, water crossing exc.

Uhhh...I think you are a bit confused...wasn't the Olympics done on the Ocoee, not the Oconee which is down south of Athens Ga...
And, the Ocoee is in Tennessee, not Georgia...east of Cleveland Tennessee, east and north of Chickamauga, Ga.
The pic looks like the Ocoee to me, though...yes, it is breath-taking, and a great ride.
A little further north, is the famous Dragon's Tail ride.
