My MC that I cancelled 3 weeks ago. MC double billed me and then wanted interest on an unpaid total(an extra $214+interest).When I called they said pay it and we will give you a credit. WTF, what if I want to spend my money in cash at the dollar store one dollar at a time.

Glad (?) to see that's a global thing, how the CC companies try to screw people in other countries too, besides just down here.

I would estimate, aside from a question posted by an occasional member, maybe 10-12, 15 at most.

Just looking at the numbers might be a good/bad thing. Yes we have a lot of members, no we have few contributing members. That is the way most forums operate in my experience. There is a core membership that sticks around whether they still have a GZ or have traded up to a different ride. Some of our members will never give up their GZ's no matter what happens in life. Others have been introduced to life on 2 wheels because of the GZ and have grown and ventured on with larger faster rides. The core membership has a great deal of knowledge to share or directs newbies to it.
The mods and ideas that individuals come up with a really a blessing for all. A good example would be BB's seat on his bike. He doesn't have a GZ anymore but a new GZ rider now knows how to make a motorcycle seat larger, more comfy and all without spending hundreds of $ on an aftermarket seat.
Lynda no longer has her GZ but still has fond memories of learning and developing her skills as a rider with a smaller less intimidating bike like her GZ. She learned it's strengths and weakness' riding half way across Canada and back. I have been her contributor on the forum and have received much more than I have contributed in experience and knowledge.
Long live the forum no matter what the numbers indicate.

You can see the concentration of participation to a certain extent, by clicking the members link at the top of the page and then sorting by number of posts. This does not account for people that once participated heavily but have moved on (badbob for instance, and Dupo to a lesser extent.) I think the numbers bear out the gist of what has been said above in this thread.

I miss some of the voices we once had (such as the aforementioned badbob, mr. softie and others) but, my unscientific opinion is we are effectively more diverse now, with more people participating, than we have ever been. I think the content tends to diminish a bit in the winter, for obvious reasons.

(Speaking for myself, though, I was out on the Strat on the four lane last night sailing along at 75 and very comfy in my MESH jacket. I think it was about 80 degrees at 11pm.)

You just had to say that. Rain, overcast and 50 F here today. Humbug.
