Air Filter Part Number?

Hey all!

I am a new owner of a 1999 Suzuki GZ. This is my first bike. I'm trying to do some tune up work on my bike, so it will run smoother. What type of air filter should I buy and would AutoZone or Advance Auto Parts carry it? Also, is there a part number I will need for them to look it up? Any information would help. Thank you.

Welcome to the forum.The O.E.M. filter is quite expensive at around $50.00.A good alternative is the "HIFLO-FILTRO" HFA-3503.It can be bought for less than $20.00.That filter also fits the G.S 500.

Down here in the south-land, I think it's more like $30 but the alternative you listed is probably pretty much exactly the same thing.

You might also want to check BikeBandit......for the GZ and/or the GS500.
