Hey Pat, is there an "R"? I'd like to solve the puzzle.

The cake was obviously ordered for an annual event held by a local women's group. It's not missing an "r". It's missing a "c".

Sometimes truth is stranger than fiction. My wife is on the board of directors of our local women's group, which is named "Merrimack Friends and Families", or MFF. She still sometimes gets annoyed with me when I insist that the proper pronunciation of this is "Muff". But I digress.

They have special interest groups that meet from time to time, and anyone in the group is free to propose/lead a new one. When one does this, coming up with a clever name is obligatory. Sue started one for sewing, and of course chatting, which she has named "Stitch & Bitch". It's quite popular.
