Looking for info - and I found this forum

I bought my GZ last spring and have about 6500 km on it. It was easy to start up on and feel confident with. I was looking for information today and was surprised to find the forum. I'll post up the info I need in an appropriate place.

Welcome Val. Always nice to have a new member, especially a Canadian.

Where were the color options when I bought my bike? I had 3, black, black, and black.(boring)

Suzuki has a funny but probably logical color strategy. The color you want is available 7000 miles away in a different part of the world.

Val, watch out for laces on your boots. They love to get hung up on foot controls when you put your foot down.

Thanks for the welcome, everyone. I've checked out a few areas and it seems I'll be here awhile - looking to accessorise with saddlebags, etc. and there sure is lots here! Awesome!

A tip - tuck your laces into the tops of your boots, outside or inside the socks - keeps them from getting not only hung up on foot controls but more importantly, out of the chain, wheels, and other moving parts.

Thanks for the safety tips about the laces. I don't need another spill!
