GZ250 Case Guard (Crash Bar)
 

hello everyone!

i was looking for a crash bar for my little girl, but here in Italy i just found this one on ebay from germany

as you can see it says it's suited for GZ 250 till year 2002... you think it will not fit a 2007 GZ 250?

i looked for MC enterprise crash bar (which rocks) but it's almost impossible to get it shipped from USA to italy...

if for your experience you think it will not fit, you have any other solutions or dealers that have one that will fit it and can ship it to italy? i've already contacted Authorized SUZUKI dealer and they said Suzuki didn't made any crash bar or case guard for GZ 250...

That one is very similar (If not identical) to the one made by Suzuki. Not worth much as an engine guard, if the bike tipped, I doubr it would protect nything, due to how narrow it is in relation to the bike.

In case of a tip over the bike is supposed to sacrifice itself to save the crash bar. Pretty to look at but totally useless for any real protection.

well it's more of a cosmetic thing than to offer the bike extra protection.... anyway you think it can fit mine? no one know an european dealer/maker that produce a compatible GZ250 crash bar?

The best one, in my opinion, is made by SPAAN, who operate out of madrid. Your local bike shop should be able to get one sent from Spain to Italy. Any bike shop in Spain can get you one. While no engine guard will give 100% protection, this one will protect the tank from damage (from personal experience)

If you decide to get one, make sure they send one for the gz250. The one for the gz125 will DEFINITELY not fit!
