depressing ride

So I have had my gz250 for almost 5 months now and have not had a single problem with it until this week. Not only does my bike decide to flood/stall or any other colorful word you can use to describe it stop running, but it did it on Main St. Daytona Beach,fl smack dab in the middle of bike week friday....betsy has officially let me down.....oh and quickly does anyone know a quick fix for one that is idling at higher rpms?

Yes. Be sure the choke is turned all the way OFF and then adjust the idle speed knob......which is a white knurled knob that sits just below the carb. on the right side. This adjustment is to be made ONLY when the bike is thoroughly warmed up (ie HOT).

***AND*** for my comment on your stalling problem.......see my next post in the "Stalling during first 15 minutes" thread.

Matty,

Mine is in the shop for similar reasons. It's actually BACK in the shop, for the THIRD time. But they think it is fixed now. As soon as I pick it up I will post the findings under "Stalling..." mentioned above.
