Software melt down

About 10 unread messages show up. They all are labeled as "in forum "Gadgets and Farkles" which I don't think even exists.
Except for one post from Dupo that shows the right forum but is a month or so old ???

Somebody been messin' with stuff tonight ?? :??:

Edit: 8 of the 10 weren't new posts after all; all old ones.
Did someone move my "accessories" post from general to an even more inappropriate forum ??? :shocked:

OK, well with the changes, that post apparently never showed up in an "unread posts" list so I missed it. It is just not possible that it was ON the list and I missed it !! :whistle:

P.S. I do not think a discussion of accessories belongs in a sub-forum of "technical". :neener:

Edit: I withdraw my objection........since there doesn't seem to be any menu display that shows ONLY the ~8 major categories by themselves. :)
